Men's volleyball grabs 22 more points, holds at No. 11 in latest AVCA ranking

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Marymount men's volleyball team went 2-1 this past week, good enough to hold it at No. 11 in the latest AVCA ranking announced this week. 

The Saints (7-3) only fell to No. 2 Stevens, 3-1, this past weekend at The Clash at Kean tournament in New Jersey. The other two matches, MU show now hesitation racking up their fifth and sixth clean sweeps of Medaille and Lasell. 

Although they remain at No. 11 for the second-straight week, the Saints are receiving 22 more points than a week prior, going from 96 to 118.

They gear up for another home trimatch this weekend, kicking it off with an AVCA Top 15 matchup with No. 6 Kean University at 2 p.m., in the Verizon Sports Arena. They will follow at 6 p.m., with the final match of the day against Lancaster Bible College.
