ARLINGTON, Va. - The No. 6 Marymount men's volleyball team concluded the regular season with its sixth-straight victory, defeating Arcadia University in four sets on Senior Day.
Three played in the match, each having strong performances. Bratke tossed out 54 assists, Choate tallied a match-high 12 digs, and Wiechecki put down 17 kills on a .281 kill percentage.
They were not alone on solid days on the court, as sophomore Sam Safley came through with a double-double on 11 digs and a match-high 18 kills on a .481 kill percentage. Junior Eric Wiles also added 17 kills on a .577 percentage, to go along with nine digs, just one short of a double-double himself.
The victory concludes the regular season with a 21-6 tally, while sitting atop the CVC West Division. The Saints will await Saturday's Kean result at Southern Virginia to decide next week's CVC Tournament. If Kean defeats the Knights on the road, Championship weekend will take place at Kean on Friday and Saturday next week. If Kean should fall on Saturday against SVU, the tournament will be held at Marymount next weekend, as the Saints will become the back-to-back CVC regular-season champions.
