ARLINGTON, Va. – The Virginia Sports Information Directors announced its Academic All-State Team, and Marymount University athletics saw six Saints honored on the team, the organization announced on Friday.

In order to qualify for the team, individuals must carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.25 or higher and be at least a sophomore. Each school in Virginia has six student-athletes honored on the All-Academic team each season.

The Marymount women's volleyball team had two named to the team, with junior Theresa Buscemi and sophomore Myah Cordrey.

Sophomore Clare Polis (women's cross country), senior Brandon Rogers (men's basketball), senior Kelly Campbell (women's lacrosse), and junior Regan Lohr (women's basketball) all earned the honor, as well.

Buscemi and Rogers are both making their second appearance as Academic All-State members. Buscemi made her first appearance in 2018, while Rogers earned the honor in 2017.
