Hall Named Program's First VaSID All-State Honoree

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Junior Conner Hall of the Marymount baseball team earned another first for the program on Wednesday, being named to first team for the VaSID College Baseball All-State teams as a second baseman.

A year that was decorated with awards for the Alexandria, Virginia native, he adds his first All-State honor to all of these: Third-Team ABCA/Rawlings NCAA DIII All-Region, First-Team All-CAC, CAC Player of the Week, and Team of the Week. The All-Region nod was also a program first this year, while the National Team of the Week was the second as sophomore pitcher Kenny Sysyn earned the award just weeks before Hall this season. His All-CAC honor was the second-straight year, earning a spot on second team in 2017.

He has several career highs this season in single games, including two games with three doubles, five hits against St. Mary's (Md.), 11 total bases against St. Mary's, and three stolen bases against Southern Vermont.

He finished with a career-best batting average of .353 off 49 hits that earned him 36 runs, 18 doubles, a triple, four home runs, and 30 RBI. He walked 21 times and stole nine bases. He sported a .436 on-base percentage and a .583 slugging percentage, both career bests.
