MARTHA'S VINEYARD, Mass. - In one of the most prestigious summer collegiate baseball leagues in the country, senior Conner Hall has pieced together a strong showing on the mound for the Martha's Vineyard Sharks, earning him a spot on the Futures Collegiate Baseball League All-Star roster.
Hall, who set several program firsts for the Marymount baseball team in his junior season, is continuing his success up in Massachusetts with the top-ranked Sharks, who have a 25-11 record and a 2.5-game lead in the seven-team league. In a relief role on the mound, he has tossed 15.1 innings through 14 games, giving up just seven hits and two earned runs while striking out 18. Through the 14 games, his relief has helped him to a 3-0 record and a save, while bolstering a 1.17 earned-run average.
Earning a spot on the Dodgers (Campanella) roster for the All-Star game, he is joined on the pitching staff with nine others, only one of which is Division III like Hall. He is one of five Sharks to make the Dodgers' pitching staff.
