GREENSBORO, N.C. – The American Baseball Coaches' Association/Rawlings NCAA Division III All-Region teams were announced on Tuesday, and Marymount University baseball senior Luke Tyree earned a spot on the Mid-Atlantic Region second team.
Tyree earned one of the outfield spots on the team, as the Saints' every day centerfielder. He was the team's most-productive player in the lineup in 2019, leading the team in batting average (.377), slugging percentage (.604), hits (60), runs (35), triples (six), home runs (five), and stolen bases (18).
He also ranked second on the team with 27 RBI and a .440 on-base percentage, while finishing fourth with nine doubles.
In the field, Tyree earned a 1.000 fielding percentage; he tallied 82 put outs and six assists in 88 chances.
Tyree was also named to the All-Atlantic East Conference first team this season.
