WATERTOWN, N.Y. – Marymount University baseball junior Kenny Sysyn has continued to be a force on the mound during the summer months, earning a spot on the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League West Division All-Star team.
Sysyn has been one of the better pitchers for the Watertown Rapids in the PGCBL, holding a 2-0 record and one save in 17 innings pitched. Of all pitchers on the team with at least 17 innings pitched, he ranks second with his 3.17 earned-run average.
He has only allowed 11 hits and six runs, in his eight appearances, while striking out 23 batters, which is good for second on the team.
The All-Star game is set for Tuesday, July 16, 2019 in Saugerties, N.Y.
