OCEAN VIEW, Del. - The Marymount University men's golf team grabbed a second-place team finish on Monday afternoon in the Atlantic East Fall Invitational, carding a 327 (+39) on the par-72, 6,426-yard Bear Trap Dunes course.
Junior John David Coffin came up just one-stroke shy of his first career tournament championship, piecing together a 74 (+2) for second place. Cabrini University's Daniel Murphy earned the victory with a 73 (+1).
Senior Justin Dobak came in five strokes behind Coffin with a 79 (+7) to tie for sixth out of the 20-golfer field. Rounding out the scoring group were seniors Daniel Stone and Thomas Farrell with rounds of 85 (+13) and 89 (+17), respectively.
Freshman Cole Ardoline finished out the group with a 104 (+32) to take 18th.
The Saints have closed out the Fall slate on Monday, and will return to the tee box in 2019.
