ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. - The Marymount men's swim team sits tied in fifth place through the first full day at the Capital Athletic Conference Championships held at St. Mary's College of Maryland, registering 105 points with Frostburg State University.
Leading the way through the first day of individual events was junior Isaiah Jones, taking seventh place in the 50-yard freestyle in a time of 21.68. His finals time was .01 second faster than his preliminary time that he posted this morning, a time that moves him up the program record list to third. It jumps him two spots up from the three-way tie he was in with teammate Zachary Payne and former Saints James Gibbons at 21.77.
The Saints return to the pool on Saturday morning for another session of preliminaries at 10 a.m., before the finals at 6 p.m.
