COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America announced its Scholar All-America Team for the Fall 2018 semester, and the Marymount University men's swimming team earned a spot with a cumulative 3.11 grade-point average.
In order to earn the honor, the Saints met the criteria of posting a team GPA of 3.0 or higher during the fall semester and maintained a roster of 12 or more student-athletes.
The Saints were one-of-713 teams from 460 institutions, representing 16,502 student-athletes, to garner the selection. The 713 teams is a record number to make the list.
This mark's Marymount's third time on the list, as the men have previously earned the honor for the spring semesters of 2011 and 2010.
The Saints will continue their 2018-19 season on Saturday, January 26 in Atlantic East Conference competition at Cabrini University; the meet is set for 11 a.m.
