Plumley, Klemm set personal records to close ECAC championships

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Marymount University swimming teams closed out the Eastern College Athletic Conference champiomships, with two personal record falling on the final day of action.

Sophomore Max Klemm broke his personal best in the 100-yard butterfly in the preliminaries, with a time of 53.34 seconds, moving into the No. 6 spot in program history.

For the women's team, senior Taylor Plumley and set a personal record in the 1650-yard freestyle in 18:03.38 to finish 15th at the meet and better her time at No. 2 in program history.

Grimm finished the 100-yard backstroke, coming just .08 seconds short of her personal-best time; she raced in 1:02.45.

Junior Hayley Elizondo placed in the top 25 of both the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke. She placed 11th in the 200 breast in 2:25.78, while taking 22nd in the 100 breast in 1:06.93.

Senior Isaiah Jones added a 29th-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle for the men, finishing in 47.33 seconds.
