Pham earns first-career Atlantic East Swimmer of the Week award

LANCASTER, Pa. – Senior Tedd Pham, of the Marymount University men's swimming team, earned his first-career Atlantic East Conference Swimmer of the Week award, the league announced on Tuesday.

Pham led the Saints with four first-place finishes in their first two meets this year, including victories over Gallaudet University and Goucher College in a dual meet on Saturday.

He notched two against Salisbury University on Wednesday, first in the 200-meter individual medley with a time of 2:21.38. He followed that with a time of 1:09.49 in the 100-meter breaststroke, just over a second off of the pool record.

On Saturday, against Gallaudet and Goucher, Pham took first in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:03.51) and the 100-yard IM (56.12s). He also helped the Saints place first in the 200-yard medley relay in 1:45.99.

Elizondo and the Saints will return to action on Saturday, October 26 against St. Mary's College of Maryland; the meet is set for 1 p.m.
