    Newport News, Va. – Marymount University's women's basketball senior forward Maame Amponsah was named 2011 College Division First Team All-State by the Virginia Sports Information Directors Association, as announced on Thursday. Amponsah was also previously named Capital Athletic Conference Co-Player of the Year, First Team All-CAC, D3Hoops.com All-Region, Richmond Times Dispatch All-State and Capital One/CoSIDA Academic All-District.
