    Atlanta, Ga. – Marymount University junior guard Katelyn Fischer was named to the 2012 Women's Basketball Coaches Association Division III Coaches' Honorable Mention All-America Team, as announced on Friday. Fischer is the 11th Saint in program history to garner All-American recognition.

Fischer is the sixth CAC Player of the Year for the Saints and the second in as many years.

The Saints earned their 13th-straight semifinals appearance and 20th overall, both league records.

    Arlington, Va. – Marymount University's women's basketball team collected $300 during Wednesday's Capital Athletic Conference victory over Wesley as part of the Play4Kay initiative. Play4Kay is the official charity is the Kay Yow Cancer Fund®, in partnership with the WBCA and The V Foundation. It is a program for a nation of coaches to raise breast cancer awareness and funds for research on the court, across campuses, in communities and beyond.
