RADNOR, Pa. – The Marymount University women's soccer team dropped an Atlantic East Conference road contest on Wednesday night, 3-1, to Cabrini University.
The teams played a scoreless first half through the first 39 minutes, before junior Karen Reyes was able to put the Saints ahead in the 39th minute. She corralled a loose ball behind the mid-field line and broke away from the Cavaliers defense for the score.
Marymount held the lead into the halftime break, but Cabrini was able to tie the game just over one minute into the second half.
The Cavaliers were able to break the tie in the 60th minute with their second goal.
Reyes had a chance to knot the score less than four minutes later, but her shot was saved by Ashley Tutzauer.
Cabrini's final tally came in the 83rd minute to cap the scoring in the contest.
The Saints will travel to Marywood University for their next game in Atlantic East action on Saturday, October 20; the match is set for 1 p.m.
