LANCASTER, Pa. – Marymount University women's soccer senior Karen Reyes was named the Atlantic East Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the first time in 2019, the league announced on Monday.
Reyes scored three goals last week for the Saints, as they went 2-0 with wins over Gallaudet University, 8-2, and William Peace University, 3-0. Her six points tied for the team lead for the week.
She netted two of her scores against the Bison, before tallying one against the Pacers.
Reyes finished the week with eight shots and a .375 shooting percentage, along with one game-winning goal.
The award marks the second Atlantic East Offensive Player of the Week selection of her career.
The Saints will return to action on Wednesday, October 9 in their first Atlantic East contest of the year, hosting Immaculata University; the opening kick is set for 7 p.m.
