LEXINGTON, Ky. – The postseason awards continue to come in for Marymount University women's volleyball junior Mykael Johnson, as she was named an American Volleyball Coaches' Association Division III All-America Honorable Mention, the organization announced on Tuesday.
Johnson has been the Saints' offensive leader this season and currently ranks seventh in the country with 506 kills. She is also 18th in the country with 4.68 points per set and 20th with 4.11 kills per set.
Her 575.5 points, also, leads the team.
She is tied for second on the team with 48 service aces, and third on the team with 336 digs and 35 total blocks.
Johnson was previously named the Atlantic East Conference Player of the Year this season, while also being named to the All-Atlantic East first team and the AVCA All-East Region first team.
Marymount made the longest postseason run in program history, this season, advancing to the NCAA Division III Regional Finals against Trinity (Texas) University. The Saints won their second-straight Atlantic East championship, as well.
